CERN Jazz Club was founded in October 1981 by André Verdier and is the ideal place for CERN Jazz musicians to practice, progress and share musical passion. We have a quite exceptional rehearsal room particularly well equipped with drums, keyboard, PA system, bass and guitar amps. Several active bands covering the full spectrum of jazz styles are performing regularly in the Swiss-French region. Since 2006, the CERN Jazz club is also a key initiator and organizer of the “CERN Jazz Festival” which attracted an audience of about 1000 people in 2006 and 2000 people in 2007 and 2008.
